The band was named in honor of its leader. A short time later the musicians signed up the contract with Mercury Label.

In 1984 their debut album was released. The song “Runaway” was included in TOP 40. One year later the band released the “7800 Fahrenheit” album getting the Gold status.

The new success was reached after releasing the “Slippery When Wet” album in 1986. Their “New Jersey” album also got the great recognition.

Then Jon Bon Jovi began to attend to another project. He engaged in producing working with such bands as “Gorky Park” and “Cinderella”. Also he try himself as compositor creating the soundtrack to the movie. After that he released his solo album “Blaze Of Glory” in 1990. Seven years later he released his second solo album “Destination Anywhere”.

The band Bon Jovi released a lot of albums with the amazing songs. At present they continue to work hardly. In last year they released their new album “Circule”. This is great band. It is in the same success league as Michael Jackson.
